NAIDOC Family Day 2018
Project: NAIDOC Family Day is an annual event hosted by the Town of Bassendean together with Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Inc. that celebrates Aboriginal language, culture and art'; and promotes the invaluable contribution Aboriginal Australians have made to our community. The 2018 celebrations were hosted by Miss NAIDOC Finalist Trudy Snow and featured an indigenous runway show that showcased Australia’s only pair of Aboriginal couture Jimmy Choo heels, designed by local Noongar artist Peter Farmer.
